GUIDED TOURS FOR GROUP VISITORS

Are you visiting as a group (15 people or more) and are you interested in a guided tour? Please inform us of your request using the button below, and we’ll get in touch with you within a few days.

WALKING ROUTE

Visiting the h3h biennial is an experience that you can expect to take several hours. The route is around 1.5 kilometres (roughly one mile) long, and covers a part of the area of De Heilige Driehoek. Parts of the road are not paved, as the route also includes some garden paths. Keep this in mind as you plan; bring walking shoes, and an umbrella in case of rain.

ACCESSIBILITY

Ramps are available for visitors in wheelchairs to cross stairs and doorsteps. In the Sint Catharinadal monastery, however, there remains one room that cannot be accessed by visitors in wheelchairs: the stairs here are too steep for a ramp. We ask for your understanding.

HOUSE RULES

• The h3h biennial is organised in the monastery area “De Heilige Driehoek”. There’s active monastic life going on in these three monasteries, which is not put on hold for our art manifestation. As an organisation, our aim to be respectful of this, and to ask the same of our visitors.

• Daily prayer services are held in the monastery chapels. You are welcome to participate, but keep in mind that photography is not permitted. There is no art viewing during services.

• Parts of the buildings and gardens are accessible to visitors by the courtesy of the monasteries. There are signs providing a clear indication of which areas are off-limits.

• Please respect the sisters’ living area and their privacy.

• Dogs and other pets are not allowed on the premises.

VISITORS’ GUIDE

The h3h biennial will publish and sell a visitors’ guide. It will contain information about the theme of Faith, the artists, the works on display, and a map showing the route.

PRAYER SERVICES
During the h3h biennial, prayer services in monastery churches continue uninterrupted. At service hours, the churches are only open to visitors for prayer, not for viewing art. Up-to-date information is available at the monastery websites.
