Artists

Curator Nanda Janssen shows, at the Secret Triangle in Oosterhout, existing and new work by 20 artists from France, New Caledonia, Venezuela, Turkey, Ethiopia and the Netherlands, among others. The artists drew inspiration from the religious and historical context as well as the lifestyle and philosophy of life of the monastics.

Three lines come together: inspiration and meaning, monastic life, and the rich history of the three faith communities that make up Secret Triangle. The artworks address these topics and connect them to contemporary social themes. The artworks kiss all kinds of stories awake that lie dormant in the Secret Triangle.
